We’d like to inform you of a new and cool website called LASIK Surgery Singapore. Basically, it’s a non-profit website setup to educate the Singapore public about LASIK surgery and its potential risks. We personally think it’s a timely effort because there have been claims by certain opthalmologists of having to do repair jobs from botched surgeries.

We particularly like the cost comparison table, which let’s you get a quick view of LASIK costs between the different clinics for the different services, e.g. Wavefront LASIK, IntraLase LASIK, etc. There’s a summarized explanation below the table for all those terms so you don’t feel lost.

The other thing that we like is the LASIK clinic directory, which has a comprehensive listing of qualified LASIK surgeons in Singapore for the readers convenience.

We’re still planning the content to make sure we have adequate information for each type of skin problem/treatment, without the risk of information overload on our wide range of readers. We’ll provide an update here once we’ve finalized the content. In the meantime, do check out the skin care blog which is updated weekly.

Website Launched!

The Dermatologist Singapore website is now officially launched! Our aim is to educate and create awareness among Singapore women about proper skin care. There are basically four main sections:
a) Skin Problems – where you can learn about common skin problems, causes and solutions.
b) Skin Treatments – where you can learn about available treatments, benefits and the procedures.
c) Skin Specialists – a dermatologist directory where you can find any Singapore skin specialist.
d) Skin care Blog – skin care tips and product reviews, syndicated from top skin care websites.

We’re still in the midst of building the pages for the Skin Problems and Skin Treatments sections, so bear with us a little longer – it’s going to take a little time because we wanna make sure our content is of high quality. We’ll make the appropriate announcements here as the pages go live so stay tuned!
